Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba Volume 1 Review
A good-hearted young man named Tanjiro Kamado lives in the highlands with his family. When he returns from selling charcoal one day, all of his family has been killed by demons except his sister Nezuko, who has become a monster herself.
Tanjiro chooses to become a demon slayer out of desperation to discover a cure for his sister and to get revenge on his family. He encounters Demon Slayer Corps member Giyu Tomioka, who puts Tanjiro's resolve and ability to the test. Giyu grants Tanjiro and Nezuko permission to join the Demon Slayer Corps finding Tanjiro's resolve and ability to defend Nezuko without endangering people impressive.
Tanjiro undergoes rigorous training from Urokodaki to prepare for the Final Selection test to join the Demon Slayer Corps.
To be ready for their mission, Tanjiro and Nezuko start training with veteran Demon Slayer Sakonji Urokodaki. Throughout his training, Tanjiro demonstrates incredible talent and perseverance, perfecting his water-breathing tactics to battle demons.
Tanjiro and Nezuko soon set off on their first assignment, which is to look into the strange disappearances in a local town. They come upon a demon that can manipulate spiders and learn that it is the cause of the kidnappings. Tanjiro utilizes his Water-breathing skills to destroy the demon in a furious battle, sparing the people and demonstrating his value as a Demon Slayer.
Tanjiro gains the admiration of his fellow Demon Slayers for his steadfast commitment to destroying demons and defending his sister during their adventure. Tanjiro embarks on a new quest to cure Nezuko's demon curse and exact revenge on the formidable demons that killed his family.
Tanjiro's compassion, fortitude, and development as he makes his way through the perilous realm of demons are masterfully portrayed in the novel, demonstrating his steadfast will to defend the defenseless and restore peace to those who are threatened by demonic forces.
