| Swordsmith Village Arc Very Conscious Story. Tanjiro and his friends arrive in the Swordsmith Village, a secret refuge for swordsmiths who craft potent Nichirin swords for demon slayers, in the fourth season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, which continues where the third season left off. Nevertheless, the town finds itself under attack by Gyokko, an Upper-Rank demon with the ability to control ice and water.
Tanjiro and his companions had to learn new swordsmanship skills from the village's expert swordsmiths in order to defeat Gyokko's strong talents. A long-standing dispute between two rival groups in the Swordsmith Village over the direction of swordsmithing is also revealed to them while they practice.
 The most skilled fighters in the Demon Slayer Corps, the Hashira, convene to talk about the growing danger presented by Muzan Kibutsuji, the ancestor of all demons. They understand that they have to take out every Upper-Rank demon, starting with Gyokko, in order to destroy Muzan.
Tanjiro and his allies engage Gyokko in a decisive combat that pushes their abilities and fortitude to the limit. At the height of the conflict, Tanjiro uses a brand-new skill that has been inherited from his family for many generations: the "Hinokami Kagura," a potent swordsmanship technique based on fire.
 Tanjiro overcomes Gyokko with the aid of his allies and the Swordsmith Village, but not before suffering grave injuries. The struggle results in the deaths of several swordsmiths, thus the triumph is not without a price.
Tanjiro and his friends are praised as heroes since the Swordsmith Village is spared despite the terrible losses. Knowing that their actions will determine whether mankind survives or not, they press on with their quest to locate and vanquish Muzan. |
