A Tru Story 

 By eating a cursed finger, Yuji Itadori, a high school student with incredible athleticism and a charitable heart, enters the realm of Jujutsu Sorcerers in the most unconventional way imaginable. 

This cursed item gives Yuji great power and a hazardous existence. It is a piece of Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses. Jujutsu Tech, a covert organization entrusted with driving out evil spirits, has him in its sights, and he faces the risk of turning into the exact creature he is trying to defeat.

Yuji is thrown into a tornado of action and explanation in Volume 1. He befriends Satoru Gojo, a strong and quirky Jujutsu practitioner who serves as both his mentor and advisor. He discovers the perils of evil spirits that arise from unfavorable feelings and wreaks devastation on the human race.

 He meets Megumi Fushiguro, a classmate who has an astounding array of cursed abilities and a grim temperament. They encounter their first significant obstacle together: a resentful ghost haunting a hospital.

The fight with the hospital ghost demonstrates Megumi's cunning and Yuji's sheer might. Additionally, it presents the idea of "cursed techniques," which are special skills inherited by Jujutsu lineages. The depth and intricacy of the Jujutsu universe are hinted at by the glimpses of Gojo's great might.

The volume is fearless to be severe. We see the terrible consequences that cursed spirits have on people, bringing to light the evil that exists beneath the surface of daily existence.

 But in amongst the blood and guts, there's also surprisingly much heart, laughter, and companionship. It's charming that Yuji genuinely wants to assist people, even if it means turning into a monster himself. His encounters with Gojo and Megumi are interspersed with humorous exchanges that counterbalance the dire circumstances.

Volume 1's conclusion

Yuji must confront the full might of Sukuna, the King of Curses, who has awoken inside him. This encounter is exciting and horrifying at the same time since it shows Yuji's capacity for evil and the great power he must use carefully. The reader is left wanting to know how Yuji will maintain his fragile balance between humanity and monstrous as the book concludes on a cliffhanger.

The first volume of Jujutsu Kaisen is a masterwork in establishing the backdrop for an epic tale. You're left wanting more as it presents interesting people and immerses them in a world full of evil magic and otherworldly dangers. With its unique combination of horror and supernatural aspects, action, humor, and emotional stakes, this shonen manga has something to offer everyone. 

Volume 1 is a must-read for anybody searching for an exciting introduction to the world of Jujutsu Sorcerers.
