In "Giyu Tomioka's Story," he is dispatched to look into a string of demon assaults in a secluded town. The assaults are thought to be the work of a bear by the locals, but Giyu quickly finds that a demon is actually to a fault. Then, to vanquish the monster and save the hamlet, he must cooperate with the locals.

Demon slayer Kyojuro Rengoku is an affable and outgoing individual who is well-known for his proficiency in the flame-breathing method. In addition, he is a formidable demon killer and a proficient swordsman. In "Kyojuro Rengoku's Story," he is tasked with mentoring Tanjiro Kamado, a teenage demon slayer who just joined the Demon Slayer Corps. Tanjiro is taken under Rengoku's tutelage and taught the fundamentals of the Flame Breathing method. Additionally, he aids Tanjiro in creating his own fighting technique.
